Our programme
Take your help further
You might be a frontline worker helping customers with money related issues, or a leader in an organisation that delivers money guidance in some way, for example in health and social care, housing, voluntary or community organisations, or local government. Whatever your role, we have something to offer you and it’s all free.
Download the Money Guidance Competency Framework
Our competency framework is available for everyone to use. It can be used in a range of ways, for example to support peer-to-peer discussions, self-reflection, career planning and to be clear about the boundaries between guidance and regulated advice. Or as a leader, training co-ordinator or HR manager for example, you can use the framework to understand training needs, inform service delivery or to inform HR processes.

Join our network
Join the growing community of money guidance practitioners across the UK to get free learning and CPD opportunities. Our networks help to put your knowledge into practice, supporting you to talk to customers about money, no matter what your role. We’re working with partners in each of the countries of the UK, offering a wealth of free resources including webinars, workshops, meetings and discussion groups.
Sharing your experience with others is a great way to learn more about what works and develop your skills. Check out our Money Guider Networks Calendar for all the latest events and activities, plus details of each nation’s network leads organisations. You can join online groups and sign up for newsletters and bulletins across the UK, with tailored information relevant to your money guidance practice.
Programme Partners
A range of organisations in all four nations are Money Guiders partners.
Why become a programme partner?
Becoming a programme partner will help you:
- improve outcomes for your customers by helping them manage their money better
- develop the skills, understanding and confidence your staff need
- understand your own or your team’s money guidance skill set, identify where training and development is needed and fill gaps with the free learning opportunities we provide
- gain recognition for your employees and volunteers for giving effective money guidance
- define or enhance your customer offer
- share good practice and learn from others who deliver money guidance
Who can become a programme partner?
We’d like to work with a diverse range of partners in all four nations, with the following characteristics:
- not-for-profit, community, voluntary and public sectors organisations that reach customers who are most in need
- already delivering some form of money guidance to members of the public
- pragmatic and engaged, with an understanding that we’re developing this programme in stages and are looking to develop longer term collaborative partnerships
Being a partner means being involved in our evaluation – we will want to know what worked well and what didn’t. You will be helping us to improve and shape the future of the programme.
